  I meant to email yesterday to let you know how well your cake went down, my dad was thrilled with it and had vowed to Keep Gilbert the Gull in one piece, I think he even nearly shed a tear as he was so touched by it! All of my family were very impressed and the staff at the pub where we had the do were asking where I had it made, as they all thought it was the best cake they had ever seen!!! They were very disappointed when I said I'd brought it down from Newcastle !   As I fully expected, the birthday cake was absolutely wonderful. What a lovely sheen the icing had and how beautifully if was finished off. It was much admired and enjoyed by all who came to the party. Everybody particularly commented how nice a change the lemon sponge was from the traditional fruit cake. I gave mum a big chunk to take home, also her brother who came from Harrogate. The flowers are also a lovely keepsake.

All of the cakes have been excellently designed, very well received and have tasted wonderful.

I personally recommend the chocolate cake which always goes down a treat with children and adults alike.

My son is a real Lego fan, I thought I was asking the impossible for both the bricks and the people to be replicated on a cake, but nothing is too much of a challenge, my son still has the Lego men!

Being a chocoholic and a real girlie girl my daughter's birthday cake was perfect. The quality of the chocolate cake was second to none and the pink dolly mixture themes was perfect for a 21st birthday cake.

For a 16 year old boy its not easy to choose a theme for a birthday cake but Mrs. Devlin came up trumps with the karate theme.
