As well as Eleanor's famously rich moist fruit cake we also offer a range of 10 different flavour combinations for our sponge cakes.
OUR CAKE AND FROSTING FLAVOURS
Our Fruit Cake
Rich, moist, brandy or cream sherry soaked fruits, with cherries and almonds. Coated in a luxurious almond marzipan and finished with royal fondant icing. All our cakes are baked to order and we kindly request at least 12 weeks notification to include 'feed' time and maturity for our extra special fruit cake.
Our Sponge Cakes
We offer a wide range of flavour combinations, we currently have 10 to choose from:-
- Vanilla Madeira sponge with raspberry or strawberry preserve and vanilla buttercream
- Zesty Lemon drizzle sponge with lemon curd and lemon buttercream
- Dark chocolate fudge cake with rich chocolate ganache
- Rich Belgian chocolate chip cake filled with orange zest and chocolate butter cream
- Moist carrot cake (walnuts optional) with lemon buttercream
- Red velvet cake with mascarpone cream or lemon buttercream
- Marble cake (milk and white chocolate) with a choice of buttercreams
- Salted caramel cake with caramel buttercream and toffee sauce
- Rich toffee cake with crushed pecan nut (optional) buttercream and toffee sauce
Our natural flavours and essences
We use a range of natural flavourings and essences for our frostings and buttercreams and these are perfect for our NAKED wedding cake range, especially when matched with seasonal fruits and berries.
All of our cakes are baked to order and we are happy to bake a different flavour cake for each tier.
